The Soul*Sisters
Working together for Soul*Sisters Lisa Whitehead & Lisa Gates was more than just a simple synchronicity.
Their life paths have been like scenes from the movie "Sliding doors" at any given moment they could have crossed paths and kept their Soul agreement to come together in this life to share, guide , teach and care for those around them.
Although they didn't know it at the time, both Lisa's lived just a few streets away from one another as children, in a small Lancashire village. Not only that, they attended the same upper school, but with over three years between them, their souls still remained apart. Both left Lancashire to move to Nottinghamshire, Lisa Whitehead to follow a career in high street fashion management and Lisa Gates to study and then to follow a career in high street fashion textile design. Despite their parallel journey's, still their path's didn't quite meet.
By 2004 both Lisa's literally lived less than three miles from one another. By this time both women had left behind their high pressured careers and both were now involved in living a more holistic life. This desire to live and work holistically would at last bring the two women together. Lisa Whitehead, Then running the award winning Calma Wellness Centre, started up a meditation group. Lisa Gates happened across the Calma website by doing a general google search, looking for meditation groups in the area. Excited at the prospect of a local group of like minded individuals, Lisa Gates picked up the phone to find out more. Little did both women know that this would be a call that would be the moment their karmic plans would begin to unfold.
"I can remember the call very clearly" Lisa W says, " I listened intently to the woman on the other end of the phone, I wasn't sure if it was just the accent, but I just felt like I already knew her" Lisa W then went on to ask where the caller ( Lisa G) was from, the conversation went something like this:
"Oh from near Manchester"
"Where abouts near Manchester?"
"Well near Rochdale"
"Really? where near Rochdale?"
"Oh you probably won't know it, a village called Milnrow"
"Did you go to Roch Valley school?"
after a little stunned silence Lisa G said "yes???"
" Ha , can you believe it, so did I!"
The Soul*Sisters had finally found one another, becoming firm friends, but always having a deep feeling of knowing that their was something greater than coincedence that had brought them together. It wouldn't be until now that that Soul agreement would trully unfold.
Lisa Gates a gifted astrologer, began to take a deep interest in Fixed star, Karmic astrology, examining past lives, Soul development and Soul purpose. Call it fate or a nagging couriosity, Lisa decided to look at both hers and Lisa W's charts together. What she discovered would bring meaning to that feeling of knowing and greater purpose between the two friends. The two women had worked together in a previous life, but hadn't completed their work. Their charts showed that they had work to do together in this life, that they had lessons to teach one another in order for their Souls to develop and had agreed in this life to take a leading role in sharing their intuitive skills and spiritual knowledge through teaching and developing others.
And so after many lifetimes the "Soul*Sisters" are finally together to deliver their promise!
